Dyno figures and dragy times are useful, but the ECU log shows what the engine is actually doing under load. It can highlight issues before they become expensive, show if a tune is too aggressive, or reveal if the car is being held back by hardware, fuel quality or calibration.
I’ll review the important areas of the log — boost control, ignition timing, fuel trims, lambda, knock correction, throttle closure, torque/load behaviour, intake temperatures and general ECU response.
If there are signs of a problem, I’ll point you in the right direction. If the car looks healthy but could be improved, I’ll let you know what can be done.
